“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord; thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a HOPE.” Jeremiah 29:11
Since 1955, we have been giving shelter to the homeless, giving hope to the addicted, giving food to the hungry, and giving God all the glory. Learn more about our Vision, our Mission, our Core Values, and learn more about our Administrator.
Letter from our
Administrator,
Aimee Izer
Dear Friends,
Thank you for visiting The Hope Center’s website. Since 1955, we have been committed to providing help for today and hope for tomorrow to individuals and families in our community. Our mission remains steadfast: to meet the physical and spiritual needs of those facing challenging circumstances through life-changing programs, compassionate services, and the unwavering message of hope found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Over the years, The Hope Center has grown and adapted to meet the increasing needs of our neighbors. From offering warm meals and safe shelter to guiding men through our Foundations Life Recovery Program, we aim to transform lives with dignity, care, and purpose. Thanks to your generous support, we’ve expanded our services to include youth outreach, community meals 365 days a year, clothing assistance, and so much more—all at no cost to those in need.
As we approach our 70th anniversary in 2025, we are filled with gratitude for the countless individuals, churches, and organizations that have stood with us through the decades. Looking ahead, we dream of a future where women have access to their own overnight shelter and long-term recovery program, where our summer camp offers even greater opportunities for children, and where all who walk through our doors feel the embrace of a community that cares deeply.
I invite you to explore this website to learn more about the programs and services we provide. Whether you’re here to seek help, volunteer, or support our mission as a Compassion Partner, know that you are part of a story that brings hope to many. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
Thank you for your support, your prayers, and your belief in the work of The Hope Center.
With gratitude,
Aimee L. Izer
