Clothing vouchers give individuals and families assistance with needed clothing items. We provide gently used clothes, shoes, hats, and gloves.

Come to the Administrative Office at The Hope Center, Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, to apply or (after 60 days) receive another voucher.

To apply for our voucher program, please bring one of the following for each person:​

Photo ID

Passport
-
Health Insurance Card

Social Security Card
Each person 18 years of age or older must complete an application. Vouchers must be used at our Hagerstown Thrift Store location only from 9 am - 12 pm and 1 pm - 4 pm. Vouchers must be used entirely in one shopping trip. You may pay the difference or return item(s) to the rack if the purchase is more than the voucher total. You will be eligible for another voucher 60 days from the issue date.
Clothing Vouchers General Information

Vouchers will expire seven (7) days from the due date.

Vouchers can be redeemed at our Hagerstown Thrift Store, Monday - Saturday, 9 am - 12 noon and 1 pm - 4 pm. No vouchers can be redeemed between 12 noon - 1 pm.

A new clothing voucher may be requested every sixty (60) days.

Clothing Donations
When you donate your gently used clothes, they will be sorted and priced for sale in one of our two thrift stores. Donated clothes may be used to help individuals and families in need through the voucher program. We do not specifically set items aside for hand-out purposes only. All items will go to our stores and then be distributed to those with vouchers.
